The Korean Business Research Institute has released its latest brand reputation rankings for actors, evaluating stars active across dramas, films, and OTT projects between October 25 and November 25. The rankings were derived from a comprehensive analysis of media coverage, consumer participation, interaction, and community indexes for 100 actors.

 

This month saw Kang Ha Neul rise to the top of the actor brand reputation list, fueled by the success of his recent film “The First Ride.” He recorded a brand reputation index of 2,828,961 in the combined actor ranking. Additionally, in the movie actor category, he also topped the chart with a separate brand reputation index of 3,686,409, composed of a participation index of 516,970, media index of 691,406, communication index of 1,287,383, and community index of 1,190,650. According to the Institute’s director, keywords linked to his ranking included “First Ride,” “Cha Eun Woo,” and “comedy,” while descriptive terms extracted were “cheerful, prolific, and hard-working,” supported by a high positivity score of 87.02%.

 

Coming in closely behind in the overall actor rankings was 2PM’s Lee Junho, who is currently earning major attention for his role in the hit drama “Typhoon Family,” with a brand reputation index of 2,826,454. Choi Woo Shik, who recently charmed viewers in “Would You Marry Me,” secured third place with 2,783,962.

 

Meanwhile, Jo Woo Jin took fourth with 2,739,160, and Lee Jung Jae placed fifth at 2,734,830. Jo Woo Jin ranked even higher in the movie category, placing second there with a movie actor brand reputation index of 3,236,735 (participation index 229,400; media index 308,456; communication index 1,223,567; community index 1,475,312). Lee Jung Jae followed in third in the movie segment with 3,034,145 (participation index 491,169; media index 685,118; communication index 512,335; community index 1,345,523).

 

For movie actors specifically, the November 2025 data reflected a 9.27% decrease compared to October, dropping from 151,613,446 to 137,552,632 in big data volume. The report highlighted decreases in brand consumption (-12.24%), brand issues (-17.50%), brand communication (-3.43%), and brand expansion (-5.97%).

 

Rounding out the top 5 movie actor rankings were Ryu Seung Ryong in fourth with a brand reputation index of 2,929,996, and Lee Byung Hun in fifth with 2,812,357.
