BTS & BLACKPINK Reign Supreme: November’s Idol and Group Brand Rankings

November has been a wild month for K-pop, and if you’ve been wondering which artists dominated the conversation, the Korean Business Research Institute just dropped the answer. Using massive pools of data—from media mentions and fan engagement to online buzz and community chatter—the institute compiled the newest brand reputation rankings for both idol groups and singers. And this month, the charts tell an exciting story.

Let’s get this out of the way first: BTS is still unbeatable.
Whether you look at the idol group rankings or the singer chart, the global superstars sit firmly at No. 1. Their idol group score jumped to 9,083,018, a healthy 17.37% increase, but it’s their singer ranking that truly stands out—10,202,812, soaring by 30.69%. With keywords like “digital song,” “ARMY,” “Billboard,” and action phrases such as “record,” and “give a speech,” BTS continues to define what cultural impact looks like. Their positivity rating? A jaw-dropping 93.50%.

Right behind them, reclaiming the spotlight in a big way, is BLACKPINK.
The quartet had a massive resurgence this month, rising to 2nd place in both categories. Their idol group index leaped by 71.05%, landing at 6,844,567, while their singer score practically exploded, rising 91.18% to 6,864,541. If November had comeback queens, it’s definitely them.

IVE, meanwhile, solidified their position as one of Korea’s most powerful 4th-gen groups. They earned 3rd place among idol groups with a strong 5,848,055, and also showed up at 4th place on the singer chart with 5,159,897, thanks to a nearly 28% boost in their index. SEVENTEEN, TWICE, Lim Young Woong, and Kim Yong Bin rounded out the top spots, proving their staying power in a fiercely competitive landscape.

What’s fascinating this month is the crossover—acts like LE SSERAFIM, EXO, aespa, ILLIT, TWICE, TWS, CORTIS, and BABYMONSTER appear in both rankings, showing just how multifaceted influence has become in K-pop. It’s no longer just about music releases; variety content, social media traction, offline events, and even brand endorsements are shaping the scores. And now, for the stats lovers, here are the full lists that shaped November’s buzz:
